Airplane Preparedness kits

I know a few people who are terrified of flying. Especially after 9/11, people are really scared. Well, come on people, be awesome instead. I think that the best way to be prepared, is to have a waterproof carry on bag with all your essentials. Like a 72 hour kit right. Well. like a mini flashlight and a pocket for your phone or something... a camera for documentation... anyways here is a waterproof bag ive thought about getting:

Quiksilver Sea Locker bag
Then so you have all the objects you need that are important kept safe in case you have to be in the water. SURVIVAL CENTRAL
but you wont always be in water. I think that everyone should train with one of these:

you could pack it with you or it would be available with your life vest. That way you could jump out of the plane if you knew it was going to crash and very gracefully touch down on land. Well not really. These guys still have parachutes but im just saying. some injury after landing is still better than not landing aka CRASHING WITH THE PLANE INTO A BURST OF FLAMES ON A SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN. precautionary things. also incentive to be in shape. you wont die! good on you mate!

Neighborhood revamp

I know a lot of social work majors come up with NGO and NPOs for their senior projects and classes and what not, but I had my own ideas about them...

Like if some people want to give to the organization and help out... then they go into a house and live there... so pay rent, but whatever they pay rent on they revamp AND they help the family revamp their place. I dont know how to make it all work, but this would help neighborhoods look better, get communities more stable and comfortable, healthier or whatever and get people involved with each other.

Its a premature idea but an idea none the less.
